ITI Admission 2023

The Assam Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT) has issued the official ITI admission notification 2023 for admission into Assam's government and commercial ITIs for the academic year 2023-2024. Assam citizens who are interested and eligible may apply online at www.itiassam.nic.in for admission to NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC, NCVT under IMC (NCVT & SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs) under the Craftsman Training Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam ITI Admission

1. English Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant, Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi Media Animation and Special Effects, Front Office Assistant, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Secretarial Practise (English), Cosmetology

The duration is one year.

Education: Completion of the tenth grade or its equivalent

2. Assistant Programmer & Computer Operator

The duration is one year.

Qualifications: Passed the tenth grade examination

3. Bodo Language Transcription Trade (BLTT)

Time frame: 6 months

Qualifications: Passed the tenth grade examination

4. Diesel Mechanic, Pump Operator/Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Tractor Mechanic, Auto Body Repair Mechanic

The duration is one year.

Passed the 10th class exams with Science and Mathematics, or its equivalent.

5. COE sector (BBBT modules): Plastic processing, fabrication (fitting and welding), construction and woodworking, information technology

The duration is one year.

Qualifications: Passed the tenth grade examination

6. General Painter

Time span: two years

Qualifications: Passed the tenth grade examination

7. Agricultural Machinery Mechanic

Time span: two years

Qualifications: Passed 10th class examinations in Science and Mathematics.

8. Crop and soil testing technician

The duration is one year.

Qualifications: Passed 10th class examinations in Science and Mathematics.

9. Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Surveyor, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Refrigeration & Air Conditioner Technician, Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance, Maintenance of Information & Communication Technology System Plant Mechanic Chemical

Time span: two years

Passed the 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.

10. Wireman

Time span: two years

Qualifications: Passed the eighth grade examination

11. Welder, Plumber, Dressmaker, Sewing Technology, Surface Ornamentation (Embroidery)

The duration is one year.

Qualifications: Passed the eighth grade examination

Age Requirement: Candidates for admission must be at least 14 years old on August 1, 2023.

How to Apply for ITI Admission ?

Candidates who are interested and eligible must first register their names online at the official ITI Admission Portal. To apply for these courses, candidates should follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Scroll down to the section Important Web-Links.

Step 2: Select "Online Registration" and finish the registration procedure by selecting "New Candidate Registration."

Step 3: Then, click the Online Registration Link again and log in with your Application Number and Password.

Step 4: Fill out all of your personal and educational information and submit any relevant papers.

Step 5: Finally, print a copy of the application form.

Admission Fee for ITI Assam

Tution fee	Rs. 50 per month
	Rs. 600 for 1 year
	Rs. 1200 for 2 years
Caution Money (Refundable):	Rs.250/-
Registration Fees:	Rs.25/-
Medical Examination, Fees:	Rs. 25/-
Trainees Union Fees:	For 1 year Rs.175/ & For 2 years Rs.350/
Hostel Service Charge:	Rs.50/- (where applicable)
Hostel Caution Money (Refundable):	Rs.250/ (where applicable)

**For BPL Candidates, the payment of Tuition fees is exempted, except SCVT under IMC courses.

SCVT under IMC courses

Non Engineering course:	Rs. 15000 per year
Engineering course:	Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years)
